I started Treasured Moments Studio in February of 2016. Photograph has always been a huge part of my life. I love looking at photographs in peoples home. From pictures on the fridge, to photo albums, to framed photographs on the wall. I am enamored by the stories photographs tell.

Hey There!
My name is Maria! I am the second oldest of four kiddos in my family. I have an older brother and two younger sisters. I live in Washington State and it’s my favorite state out of the U.S.!! My friends have described me as creative, sweet, talented, and ambitious. My family would agree, but they might also say I can be very funny, a thinker and someone who loves a good conversation. I’m passionate about JESUS, my piano and piano students, photography, my clients, flip flops, writing, Chai Lattes, movies, books and of course, my family. Most weekends you’ll find me at my piano playing around with a new tune, photographing almost anything or editing photos, and snuggling up with ice cream and my family.

“When I was three, I positioned our two TV remote controls on a pillow and asked my Mom to take a picture. When we moved a few years ago, I was looking through old photo albums and I found the picture my Mom had taken when I was three. The remotes still set up as I remembered it. My mom had printed the photo and written on the back, ‘Maria’s first photography endeavor’. Somehow she knew I would always love photography”
Origin of the Name!
You might ask why the name, Treasured Moments Studio? During my composition writing for piano, I wrote a piece and placed lyrics to it. The words expressed what I wanted to do with my photography and musical abilities. We appreciate all treasured moments, because they are from God. A line from the song, Treasured Moments. "Treasured moments I find in You,They're sweeter still as you walk me though."
