Collage of the Year // 2021
/Happy New Year!!!
I am blown away at how quickly this year has flown by! As I created the collage for this year, reminiscing over the countless portraits taken and memories captured, I was reminded that whatever we say and do, to do all to the glory of God. Each family, couple, wedding, and portrait from this year contains a story. A road being walked by each individual. The more time passes, I look not only to the future, but to the legacy I’ll leave behind. What do I want to be remembered for? What would I want my headstone to say? I know that could sound morbid or depressing seeing that we’re entering a new year, but take a moment and ask yourself those questions! As I hear the many stories from these incredible people, I am so encouraged and blessed. The hand of God in their lives and their purpose in living for HIM, inspires me. I want to be steadfast in following the will of my God. I want to walk a life the energizes others to be sold out to God and to only bring Him glory. This year, the word ‘focus’ has been placed on my heart. Focus on what God has put into my path and what He has given me to work on. Focus on my relationship with Him so that I may know Him to a deeper level of sweetness. I have been so blessed by the grace of God this year, it brings me to tears. He is faithful, steadfast, pure, holy, and my friend. As you review your year, create your new year goals, and walk through each day, remember that a lifetime serving our God is better spent than focusing greatly on our cares. He holds us in the palm of his hand and we shall not fall from His sheltered grasp.
